Re: Get while gettin’s good; Time for Trudeau to walk away — he’ll be happier, so will we, Warren Kinsella column, Oct. 20
This is just wishful thinking on the part of Mr. Kinsella, although the vast majority of Canadians will agree with his suggestion. The problem is that Justin Trudeau is unlikely to quit.
Let’s face it, why would Trudeau willingly give up his many personal entitlements, such as being able to vacation and stay in the most expensive hotels at taxpayers’ expense and treating Canadian finances as his personal piggy bank to spend recklessly while virtue signalling.
Personally, I hope Trudeau stays until the next election so that he can be brutally humiliated for running an ideologically driven, woke and reckless-spending government that has done great harm to the Canada we used to be very proud of.

TRUDEAU WILL WIN AGAIN ONCE …
I would like to point out there will be five things that will happen before Justin Trudeau is elected to form another government in Canada.
1. Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup.
2. Corner Brook, N.L., becomes host city for the Olympics.
3. Tom Brady comes out of retirement to be quarterback for the Edmonton Elks.
4. P.E.I. bans lobster traps.
5. Maui becomes Canada’s 11th province.
Just saying …

MY OWN LANE
I want Premier Doug Ford to designate a lane just for me and my car, like the minority cyclist community. Call it selfish and foolish, but to heck with everyone else. Few cyclists actually use the designated lanes and even fewer do during the winter months, compared to would-be vehicle traffic, but they still expect the bike lanes to be cleared and still cause traffic headaches for everyone else even when they are empty.
I don’t care about small business, the carbon footprint, medical appointments or the 99.9 per cent of other people. Practical or not, it is all about me.
Thanking you in advance, Doug.
