- Reverse: 1999’s limited-time Los Angeles art installation has come to a close
- Open for a short period between October 26th and 27th, it featured art and music from the game
- The event also helped mark the launch on Steam
As we come towards Halloween, there’s a lot of spooky events taking place across a variety of games. But you know what’s not scary? Art installations (usually), and one game that’s just wrapped up a major one is Reverse: 1999, which featured its To the Past Times event in Los Angeles for a limited time from October 26th to 27th.
The event featured artwork, music, a cosplayer meetup and screenings of music videos and trailers was apparently quite the smash hit, and was done in part to mark the official launch on Steam. Not only that, but also the first anniversary, which has itself seen some extensive promotion on the official YouTube channel!
Unfortunately, if you want to get in on another promotion for Reverse: 1999, you’ll need to live in Singapore. But the good news is that the Bluepoch collaboration with local bubble tea chain Signature KOI is running until November 10th! So you’ve got plenty of time to book a flight.
Back to the past
Reverse: 1999 may not exactly be the most surreal and unusual RPG out there, but I think it’s fair to say that it’s different enough to the majority of them to have made such a justifiable impact. And with it making its way to Steam, I’m sure we’ll be seeing even more fans getting into Reverse: 1999 in the near future!
