00NATION, a youth lifestyle brand and community, brought back their epic ‘Game Night’ event to Tape London in Mayfair last Thursday 24th October 2024.
After the success of their last London iteration, earlier this year in April, October’s exclusive invite only event celebrated the launch of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6, powered by Xbox brought some of the biggest names in sport, gaming, streaming and entertainment together. Including the likes of P Money, Michael Ward, Sean Sagar and Tosin Cole provided with an exclusive chance to play the game ahead of the official launch in the UK.
With performances from some of the biggest talent in UK music, including CLASH cover star, AJ Tracey, casual gameplay, an elite gaming tournament and tattoo artists – October’s Game Night had all the special ingredients.
Launching on Friday 25th October, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, is a spy action thriller set in the early 1990s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops across a cinematic single-player Campaign, a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, and with the epic return of Round-Based Zombies.
Powered by Xbox, the night featured a talent-stacked tournament, which saw 16 talents including Bateson, Kori Sampson, and Ysabella Grace, and some of the UK’s biggest Call of Duty tastemakers team up and go head-to-head in 2v2 matches. Featuring a knockout round, semi-finals and a final between the two best teams which was won by OLLMS and gold medal trampolinist Bryony Page.
Little Tape, another part of the nightclub location, was also taken over by two casual gaming areas, allowing guests and members of the 00NATION community to enjoy Black Ops 6 game play. With one area focused on Round-based Zombies and a 2v2 small map rapid rotation zone in a winner stays on format.
Launched last Friday 25th October, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on Xbox (Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One), PC (Microsoft Store, Battle.net, and Steam), Game Pass on Xbox consoles and PC (Microsoft Store only), and PlayStation (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4). Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Console players can download and pre-install COD HQ and Call of Duty®: Warzone™.
