For those looking to get a head start on voting, advance polls for Regina’s municipal and school board elections start Friday at a handful of locations across the city.
From Nov. 1 to Nov. 4, eligible voters can vote at any of the following locations:
Regina City Hall at 2476 Victoria Ave. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Regina City Hall drive-thru at 2476 Victoria Ave. (enter from 12th Avenue onto Smith Street) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Northgate Mall at 489 Albert St. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
North West Leisure Centre at 1127 Arnason St. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
South Leisure Centre at 170 Sunset Dr. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Victoria Square Mall at 2223 E Victoria Ave. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Only on Nov. 4: University of Regina at 3737 Wascana Pky. in the students’ union multi-purpose room in the Riddell Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There are a total of 63 candidates vying for a seat on Regina’s city council, including 11 people running for mayor and 30 candidates seeking election as a school board trustee for the public or separate school divisions.
Every resident may cast a vote for all three positions. Voters must bring a government-issued photo ID or two pieces of government-issued ID without photos that include their name and address.
Election Day is on Nov. 13 and regular polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
