A 23-year-old man accused of attempted murder in a shooting death on Pierre Avenue in 2023 has been arrested for allegedly violating his bail conditions.
Police said Kyle Small was released on bail in April with strict requirements that included electronic monitoring and house arrest in Petawawa, Ont.
Small was arrested this week in the 4000 block of Sandwich Street by Windsor police bail compliance officers who were assisted by members of the OPP-led repeat offender parole enforcement squad.

Small was charged, along with a second suspect, for his alleged participation in a targeted shooting in the 900 block of Pierre Avenue on Aug. 15, 2023.
A 33-year-old male was taken to hospital at the time with serious injuries.
Small was captured in Michigan in August 2023 by members of the United States Marshals Service and then extradited back to Canada.
The arrest was the result of a co-ordinated effort between the Windsor Police Service’s major crimes unit, the Ontario Provincial Police-led repeat offender parole enforcement squad and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Mark Small, 48, who acted as his son’s surety, has also been charged with two counts of facilitating a failure to comply with a release order.
Bail compliance officers are part of the offender management unit, a partnership between the Windsor and LaSalle Police Services to supervise high-risk individuals placed under house arrest, curfew or electronic monitoring.
