Pikmin Bloom, the hit AR game based on the famous franchise, is set to celebrate its third anniversary. And as part of the festivities, fans can walk together with the new Party Walk feature and gain some special rewards at the end. Isn’t that lovely?
Yes, you read that right, three party walks taking place throughout the month of November, all with special rewards at the end. For those not familiar the Party Walk feature allows players to track their steps and work towards a total goal with other people in their party.
The first will take place from November 1st to the 7th and feature Chery Blossom petals as a reward, the second from the 8th to the 14th with Rose Petals for the reward and finally the last will run from the 15th to 21st with Sunflower Petals as a reward. You can join up to each Party Walk on Pikmin Bloom’s official site!
Walking tall
As our editorial staff noted, we were quite surprised to see Pikmin Bloom reaching this milestone. Despite the seemingly niche appeal of the Pikmin series, I find it quite admirable that it’s managed to endure this long with this mobile adaptation. I also think it’s a neat way to celebrate by encouraging players to come together, even if it’s remotely, to gain rewards.
