Though not a stranger to surgeries, Tom Cruise is reportedly fearing that a ‘botched procedure could leave him looking like a caricature of himself.’
Tom Cruise has been trying non-invasive methods to eliminate his under-eye bags caused by ageing, but nothing seems to have worked. Now, the actor is feeling the pressure and exploring several beauty rituals to maintain his glow and charm. Although he is no stranger to surgery, the actor is reportedly terrified to go under the knife to get rid of his droopy eye bags. The reason? He fears that a “botched procedure could leave him looking like a caricature of himself.”
A source, in a conversation with Touch Weekly, said that Tom Cruise has undergone a lot of failed surgeries in the past. He said, “He hates the idea of going under the knife because he’s terrified that it could leave him looking like a caricature of himself.”
Speaking about the humiliation that came his way after the cringe-worthy filler fiasco, the insider mentioned that Cruise still has not forgotten “that chipmunk cheek nightmare when he got talked into getting filler in his face, and it took months to go down.”
Since the methods Cruise has been using did not yield results, his friends have revealed that the actor is now exploring more extreme measures in his anti-wrinkle journey, including biohacking.
The insider continued, “He swears that cold exposure is the fountain of youth and thinks people are living in the dark ages if they don’t embrace the latest methods for increasing longevity.”
Prioritising his health and wellness, Tom Cruise is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to remain youthful, fit and attractive. As part of this effort, he recently installed a cryotherapy chamber in his home, undergoing freezing treatments regularly, according to a source.
But that’s not all. The global star also participates in ice water dipping for its benefits in reducing inflammation, tightening the skin and supporting fat loss.
Tom Cruise believes these freezing treatments will boost his metabolism while slowing down the aging process. “He’s convinced that it gives him an edge and says it’s better than drinking 10 cups of coffee in the morning,” the insider added.
Another source mentioned to the portal that the actor is unwilling to undergo surgery, despite being fully aware that his face is his “moneymaker.”
On the work front, Tom Cruise is set to appear in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s upcoming untitled film alongside Sandra Hüller and John Goodman.
