After taking some time off, BTO is scheduled to hit the road in Canada for a 22-date trek that begins April 1 in Victoria and concludes May 8 in Halifax.
“With Randy’s legendary guitar and Tal’s contemporary flair, BTO forges ahead, blending their classic hits with a fresh energy that captivates audiences worldwide,” says a news release. “The BTO legacy lives on, promising unforgettable performances and a continued impact on the ever-evolving rock landscape.”

Randy Bachman, who’s originally from Winnipeg, has received a boatload of awards and accolades during his long career as a solo artist and with various groups. He’s a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, a two-time member of Canada’s Walk of Fame, and a recent nominee for induction into the international Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Prior to BTO, Bachman was best known for performing alongside Burton Cummings in another legendary rock band, The Guess Who. BTO’s current tour is to include music from The Guess Who, headlined by the monster hit American Woman.
“Years ago, BTO rocked Canada coast to coast, sharing the stage with acts like ZZ Top.,” Bachman says in the release. “Now, we’re excited to return, bringing along Canadian rock legends April Wine and Headpins. Get ready for a night of 70s classic rock that continues to dominate the airwaves.”
