An arrest warrant has been issued by Windsor police for a 34-year-old man after a violent robbery in a rear alley left a victim with critical injuries.
Officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Tecumseh Road East shortly after 9 a.m. on Thursday, where a man was discovered in a rear alley with life-threatening injuries.
Police said that the victim was rushed to the hospital and remains in the intensive care unit.

The Windsor police major crimes unit is leading the investigation.
Investigators learned that the victim was allegedly violently assaulted by the suspect after the pair left a nearby establishment together at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Officers reviewed surveillance footage that captured the suspect allegedly repeatedly striking the victim in the head.
Investigators have identified the suspect as Charles Leighton Taylor Pinnace, who is currently wanted on charges of aggravated assault and violent robbery.
Pinnace is described as a Black male, around five feet 10 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, with black dreadlocks and brown eyes.
Windsor police said Pinnace is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
If Pinnace is spotted, police are asking that the public contact 911 immediately.
