Police are investigating an incident in Melbourne’s west, advising some residents in the suburb of Weir Views to stay indoors.
Police have asked residents near Leon Drive to “stay inside” until they are told it is safe to leave. “We will provide further information when it is available,” a police statement said.
A police media spokeswoman said the communications unit had been advised to issue advice to residents to stay inside their homes but had not been informed why.
