Following the success of his web series Chamak, television star Mohit Malik is gearing up for his big Bollywood debut in the Abhishek Kapoor directorial, Azaad. Along with Mohit, the film also marks the first big screen appearance of Aaman Devgan, nephew of Ajay Devgn and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani. The trailer of Azaad has already grabbed attention, thanks to its stunning visuals, interesting plot and fresh faces. While the trailer mostly focuses on the characters of Ajay, Amaan and Rasha, Mohit makes a brief yet impactful appearance. The team has been busy promoting the film and during one of the promotional events, Mohit was spotted by the paparazzi. He was seen smiling brightly, while posing for the photographers.
As per the video, the Kulfi Kumar Bajewala star was seen preparing for the promotional event, as he was spotted in casual yet stylish attire. He was captured stepping out of his vanity van, wearing an oversized T-shirt paired with navy blue pants, looking charming as always. As soon as the actor left the vehicle, he greeted the photographers with a wide smile and interacted with them before leaving for the event.
Earlier when Ajay Devgn launched the trailer of Azaad, speaking to ANI, the actor spoke about his role and praised his nephew Aaman Devgan’s hard work. The Singham Again star said, “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy.”
The upcoming movie is set in pre-independence India, and follows the story of Ajay’s character, an expert horse rider, who shares a strong bond with his horse. The plot takes a dramatic turn when he goes on a battle against the British army and in the chaos, his beloved horse goes missing. As per the trailer, Aaman’s character is given the chance to find the horse. The teaser also offers a glimpse of Rasha and other characters.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is scheduled to release in January 2025. Along with Mohit Malik, Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn and Rasha Thadani, the movie also stars Diana Penty and Piyush Mishra in key roles.
