Windsor police are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify a suspect who allegedly broke into a home last week and then used stolen cards to make purchases later that day.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Curry Avenue on Tuesday, Nov. 4. A burglar is alleged to have broken into the home and taken a resident’s wallet, which contained both debit and credit cards.

Later that day, police said the suspect used the stolen cards at nearby retail stores located in the 300 block of Mill Street and the 800 block of Campbell Avenue.
The suspect, wanted in a break-in and fraud investigation, was captured on video surveillance footage at one of the locations while trying to use a card.
Windsor police describe the suspect as a white man with a moustache, estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old.
At the time of the incident, officers said the suspect was wearing a black Air Jordan baseball cap, a grey sweatshirt, and glasses.
