Alexa Bliss, one of the biggest female stars in WWE, is teasing her return to the ring for fans on social media.

In a recent exchange on Twitter/X, Bliss responded to a poll asking who would win a promo battle among herself, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, and Tiffany Stratton. When a fan commented that none of these women could hold up to Bliss in 2017, she replied: “Just you wait” alongside a microphone emoji.
Bliss has not been in the ring since the 2023 Royal Rumble, where she lost to Bianca Belair in a WWE Women’s Championship match. The wrestler was reportedly training to return to active competition when she discovered she was pregnant, later saying, “I was preparing for my return in the ring and I was just having really bad cramping. I thought that was weird. So then I just decided to take a test and then I think I said, ‘Oh s—t.'”
Bliss and her husband Ryan Cabrera became parents in November 2023, and since then, the three-time Raw Women’s Champion has participated in several non-WWE ventures, but not returned to wrestling.
However, Bliss says that WWE still has her under contract, revealing, “WWE gave me time off for [Masked Singer] to kind of fully dive into that experience with rehearsals, vocal lessons, and all that stuff. Storyline-wise, I was not on TV anyway, so it really kind of worked out perfectly. [WWE] extended my contract, and so it’s just basically come back when I’m ready. Probably a month after the baby, I’ll start probably getting back into the gym, and getting ready for to see what my in-ring return looks like.”

Bliss debuted in NXT in 2014, and quickly made a name for herself on the main roster in 2016, becoming a multi-time SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champion. Bliss is celebrated for her sharp promos, ability to play both heel and babyface roles, and her distinctive character work.
She is a five-time women’s champion, holding both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships multiple times. Bliss won the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2018 and successfully cashed in to become the Raw Women’s Champion. She is also a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion and has competed in key matches like the Elimination Chamber and Royal Rumble.
