- Monster Hunter Now’s newest event comes just in time for the holidays
- Track down multicoloured versions of iconic monsters
- Gold & Pink Rathian, and Silver & Azure Rathalos will all be seen more often in the field
While the big news for Monster Hunter this week may be the announcement of Outlanders, a full-fledged new entry in the series for mobile, Monster Hunter Now isn’t shirking its duties. As we head into the holidays, you’ll be excited to learn that there’s a major new event around the corner, with special monsters to hunt out in the field.
Starting November 18th, you’ll find that the Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos creatures will start making more common appearances, up until November 24th. They’ll be appearing alongside the even rarer Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos, alongside new limited-time quests and Hunt-a-thon appearances as part of the Rare-Tinted royalty event.
Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos will appear in swamp and forest habitats respectively, while you’ll spot Gold Rathian in Deserts, Silver Rathoros in forests and both in swamps. That’s alongside appearances of the latter two at Hunt-a-thon points throughout the event!
Hunting season
Given it’s getting into winter, I’m not altogether surprised that there’s some major events coming to Monster Hunter Now. After all, while it might not be an issue in more temperate regions of the world, I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that we need a good reason to leave our comfortable homes and brave the miserable, chilly weather. And as far as avid hunters are concerned, I’d hazard a guess that unique versions of some of the series’ most chilling (pun intended) monsters are as good a reason to brave the weather as any.
