- Hit tower defence and real-time strategy hybrid Warcraft Rumble is coming to PC
- The port comes as part of the 30th anniversary of Warcraft, with a beta launching December 10th
- You’ll also be able to experience a brand-new feature with Split Leaders
If you’re a fan of Warcraft Rumble, the Warcraft-themed fusion of tower defence and real-time strategy, you may have been fretting over the fact that you can’t play on your desktop. Well, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations for Blizzard’s iconic Warcraft franchise, you soon can!
That’s because, starting with a beta on December 10th, Warcraft Rumble is coming to PC! While it may not be the biggest aspect of the celebration, I’m sure there are more than a few of you who’re excited to be able to take a seat when you play.
And the best part is that this isn’t the only major feature that’s coming to Warcraft Rumble. Soon you’ll be able to say hello to Split Leaders, characters who belong to two separate factions like the legendary figures Orgrim Doomhammer, Malfurion Stormrage and Anub’arak. There are also five new minis, which were also announced as part of the Warcraft Rumble segment on Warcraft Direct.
Get ready to rumble
It’s not unusual for Blizzard to bring their more successful releases to mobile, especially since they’ve cultivated a fanbase who I think would admit they prefer to commit to longer sessions of play. The decision to add Split Leaders I reckon will also offer plenty of new ways for you to customise your preferred playstyle, and hopefully more unique roster loadouts that go beyond the simple mixture of Horde & Alliance.
Warcraft Rumble already boasts dozens of minis, so many that you may be at a loss about where to start. So why not dig into our tier list of all the Warcraft Rumble minis, ranked?
