Jerry Seinfeld’s upcoming appearance in Regina is not a rerun.
One of the world’s most famous comedians is bringing his new standup routine to the Conexus Arts Centre for two shows on Friday night, adding some major star power to an already stacked entertainment lineup.
1. Seinfeld Live
The 70-year-old New Yorker — best known as co-creator and star of the former NBC series bearing his name — continues to draw huge crowds more than 25 years after his iconic sitcom came to an end.

It still runs in syndication and streams on Netflix, introducing new audiences to his observational and relatable brand of humour about the little things in daily life.
One of Seinfeld’s latest projects is the film Unfrosted, which was released earlier this year on Netflix. He served as writer, director and star.

2. Mo music
The Regina Folk Festival’s concert series continues with a performance by Juno-nominated musician Mo Kenney on Sunday night at the Artesian, joined by special guest Marissa Burwell of Regina.
The Nova Scotia-born performer won the SOCAN Songwriting Prize in 2013 for best song (Sucker) by an independent Canadian musician, plus a Canadian Folk Music award for best new/emerging artist.
Kenney’s show is part of a busy weekend at the Artesian, which is also hosting a Friday night concert featuring Juno-nominated Saskatchewan singer Megan Nash along with Edmonton’s Billie Zizi.
On Saturday, the Artesian welcomes Morpheus’ Circus of Nightmare and Dreams. It’s described as a night of “spooktacular feats of strength and drama” that include belly dancing, burlesque, fuzion, aerial silks, rope, sling, hoop and pole performances.
