So the principal of an Ottawa high school wanted to bring diversity and inclusion to Remembrance Day that is usually only about “a white guy who has done something related to the military.” Wow, what an insult to our veterans who sacrificed their lives or were severely wounded in the name of freedom. A freedom we all enjoy today. You really have to wonder how this individual was ever selected to be a principal? I remember over 65 years ago my teachers in grade school saying the best way to remember how to spell the word principal of our school was, this individual is a “pal” to you and me. This guy doesn’t fit that resemblance.

Services a travesty
The Remembrance Day services in Toronto and to a lesser extent in Calgary were a travesty, because certain people chose to make political statements about slaves, Indigenous issues and the like. Remembrance Day is to remember our fallen, of all races, creeds and religions, who died in order that our country kept its freedoms intact. These soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms deserve this day, not political statements. Is it too much to ask for one day a year to remember them?

Turn over documents
I want to see all documents pertaining to Liberals’ slush fund. I don’t care right now if they don’t go to the RCMP. We as Canadian taxpayers have a right to know where our money is being spent. If Trudeau and his minions don’t have anything to hide, they should turn over unredacted documents immediately.

Crippling effect
How is it possible that a very small group of Canadians are allowed to cripple a country? First it’s the airlines. Then it was the railway system. Now the ports. Ack, almost forgot about the Canada Post strike. All in a very short period of time. What the hay is going on here? Unions were designed to help people, not crush them.

‘Very aligned’ on China?
Re: Freeland confident Liberal government is ‘very aligned’ with Trump team on China. Delusional is the only word to be used to sum up this outlandish statement from the daughter of Alberta. Let’s hope this statement isn’t leaked out either to Donald Trump or any of his Republican team. Canada just might become the laughing stock in Washington.
