As you progress through Luma Island’s main campaign, you’ll uncover numerous blueprints. However, some, like the Flour Mill, are hidden behind specific prerequisites. So, if you’re eager to unlock the Flour Mill blueprint, here’s the path to your next farming triumph.
How to unlock Flour Mill blueprint in Luma Island
The Flour Mill blueprint unlocks from the Cook Profession. You can access this career during the game’s beginning stages, where you can purchase a Profession Permit for free. But, if you have already gotten ahold of a different job, you can still buy another permit for 500 gold the second time. Afterward, it’ll cost you 10,000 gold for any additional careers, and there’s no limit on how many you buy.
With the Cook Profession active, open your Build menu to access the Flour Mill and Stove blueprints. Crafting the Flour Mill is a straightforward process, requiring just three farm planks and three copper bars. Gather the wooden planks from the Saw Mill and mine the copper ore. Those who are short on time can always purchase the ore from the Stonemason’s Shop.
You’ll need wheat seeds from the Farm Shop to use the Flour Mill. It’ll be near the Town entrance, next to the other stores. Use a hoe to plant the wheat seeds, then wait around until they’re ready to harvest (it should take a day or so). Equip your axe to pick them up and place ten wheat in the Flour Mill to produce two Flours.
How to make Bread in Luma Island
After you’ve crafted the Flour Mill, you must build a Stove. This recipe mandates five farm planks, three copper bars, and five glass. These materials are pretty easy to find around The Farm, so acquiring them shouldn’t take too long. In return, you can use two Flours to make the Bread recipe.
Sell the Bread for 636 gold to complete a part of the Become a Novice Cook quest. You’ll unlock more bread-based recipes in Luma Island’s later missions.
