Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! legend Fatima Whitbread has branded the McFly band members ‘skanky’ in a cheeky swipe.
The Olympic medallist, 63, appeared on the ITV reality series in 2011, before returning for the All Stars version in South Africa last year.
Both times, she finished in third place, with Dougie Poynter going on to win in the 11th series.
He set quite the standard for his McFly co-star Danny Jones, who is currently in the jungle alongside the likes of Coleen Rooney, GK Barry and Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse.
On Wednesday’s episode of the jungle show, the 38-year-old singer made a shocking confession about his boxers, admitting he was still wearing the same ones as four days ago.
‘Since it’s rained I’ve not washed,’ he shared to his campmates.
‘Don’t fight it, just stink! What do spiders do? They don’t get up and shower, do they? They just go: “I’m gonna go out for the day”.’
Unbothered about offending his campmates’ noses, Danny continued: ‘I’ve not changed my boxers that I had a snake on…’
Fatima was left branding the McFly members ‘skanky’ after revealing Dougie’s confession from when he was in the jungle a year ago.
Appearing on spin-off show Unpacked, she said: ‘What’s with these McFly boys? They’re all skanky aren’t they!’
‘Dougie also never washed! From the day one he got in until the day he came out!’
Fatima added that campmates get ‘algae’ growing on their skin, making the lack of washing by certain stars even more grim.
‘When I got into the hotel, I scrubbed myself in the shower and got in the beautiful jacuzzi bath, but all I saw was this brown dirt, all the algae coming off my skin.’
Fatima elsewhere recalled her infamous I’m A Celebrity incident, where a cockroach was stuck up her nose.
She has still kept the critter, which is now preserved in a paperweight, and showed it to hosts Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers and Sam Thompson.
Back in 2011, Fatima had to deal with the crawly climbing up her nose during a bushtucker trial, and needed help from the medics to flush it out.
‘It’s an iconic moment,’ she said, adding it was ‘surreal’ and actually took 40 minutes to finally get it out.
‘I could feel it’s furry little legs hanging on for dear life,’ she said, adding she’d been told it could have crawled out of her ears, had it not been flushed out of her nose.
Thankfully, she can now laugh about the experience, joking that people now want to see the preserved cockroach over her gold medals.
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
