The Open Beta for Supervive comes with a trove of balance updates and reworks for the various playable Hunters. While all Hunters have their own strengths and weaknesses, there are certainly some that are stronger than others on a baseline level. We’ve put together a Supervive Tier List to illustrate the strongest overall Hunters in the current Open Beta launch.
Supervive Tier List for all Hunters
With 16 Hunters at launch, it can be a bit overwhelming to decide which Hunters to focus on unlocking in the Supervive Open Beta. All Hunters have their own strengths and weaknesses, and if you take the time to learn their toolkit, you can really extract value out of most of these hunters to push them into the S Tier. However, there is certainly a current meta in Supervive, so if you want to know the overall best Hunter options, here is our Supervive Tier List for all of the Open Beta Hunters:
S Tier
About the S Tier: Oath brings an insane amount of survivability and utility to the team which is important in a competitive setting like that offered in Supervive. Kingpin has the advantage of hard countering a lot of Hunters—typically close-ranged Hunters as referenced in our C Tier—and also has game-changing power with his hook ability. While not as strong as Kingpin, Zeph is still an incredibly powerful option with high damage and healing.
A Tier
- Bishop
- Celeste
- Ghost
- Myth
- Void
About the A Tier: Bishop and Celeste can be slotted into most team comps with their CC and insane poke capability. Ghost has some similar functionality but also has higher damage potential. Myth is an extremely solid overall Hunter who got an improved toolkit coming into open beta and is a solid all-around Hunter. Void can be an S Tier option if your team knows how to play around his toolkit, but he can suffer if the team doesn’t know how to cater to his strengths.
B Tier
- Felix
- Hudson
- Joule
- Shrike
About the B Tier: Felix is a great frontline Hunter but struggles against Kingpin which you will see in most team setups. Hudson and Joule are both great options especially when paired with Oath from the S Tier, but they can challenged by Kingpin as well. Shrike suffers from some mobility issues but has some solid solo opportunities where she can shine.
C Tier
About the C Tier: While there are certain situations in which these Hunters can shine, their limited range really puts them at a disadvantage in the current meta of Supervive. Brall and Jin specifically can get hard-countered by some other Hunters like Kingpin if played by an experienced player. As such, we only recommend playing these Hunters for fun or if you really enjoy their kit otherwise, you may find yourself at quite a disadvantage.
Keep in mind you’ll want to make sure your team is balanced and not just using the three Hunters in the S Tier. In fact, you should have a Kingpin OR a Zeph on your team, not both. Similarly, you should always have an Oath OR a Celeste on your team, but never both of them. Make sure to build your team around your strengths and that will give you the best chance to succeed in Supervive.
