Chrishell Stause Leaves Out Tom Sandoval’s Photo While Promoting ‘The Traitors’ Season 3

Fans are speculating about a possible beef between Chrishell Stause and Tom Sandoval.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the Selling Sunset star shared an Instagram post promoting the upcoming third season of The Traitors, in which she’ll compete. Alongside her own portrait and a clip from the reality competition’s trailer, she included the official cast photos of all the other contestants (which Entertainment Weekly exclusively unveiled Friday), leaving out one person: Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandoval.

Fans flooded Stause’s comments, speculating about why he was missing, assuming that the exclusion was intentional and that there was bad blood between the pair.

The two reality stars don’t seem to have a personal connection outside of the Traitors competition, so if they are feuding, it’s possible they made enemies during the often-intense psychological showdowns on the series, which returns to Peacock Jan. 9.

Several commenters guessed that Stause may dislike Sandoval because of his now-infamous cheating scandal with his Vanderpump co-star Rachel Leviss while he was in a relationship with longtime partner Ariana Madix. The drama, dubbed “Scandoval,” played out on season 10 in 2023.

“Now I KNOW Chrishell is team Ariana😌✨ icons supporting icons,” one commenter wrote.

“Omg if you blocked off Sandoval’s face in the last slide… ICONIC BEHAVIOR,” another fan wrote of the missing portrait, guessing that perhaps the photo of the Traitors castle replaced one of the Sandoval.

Other fans in the comments focused instead on the fabulous fashion the portraits teased for the new season of the style-savvy show (thanks to host Alan Cummings’ iconic outfits) and expressed their support for Stause in the competition.

“Thank god someone will be serving LOOKS this season,” one comment read.

“Go Chrishell!!! 🔥❤️ Please team up with Bob the drag queen 🙌👏,” another person wrote.

The hit reality series sees celebrities compete for a grand prize, most as “faithfuls’ but some as “traitors” who lurk among them and try to sow discord and deceit. If the faithfuls are able to expose and eliminate all the traitors by the end of the game, they get to share the prize money. If not, the remaining traitors steal the prize.

Along with Stause and Sandoval, the third season will feature 19 more competitors.

There are several The Real Housewives franchise stars (Robyn Dixon, Chanel Ayan, Dorinda Medley, and Dolores Catania), some Big Brother alums (Danielle Reyes and Britney Haynes), and a selection of Survivor competitors, including Carolyn Wiger, Jeremy Collins, Boston Rob Mariano, and Tony Vlachos.

Other notable figures include Britney Spears’ ex Sam Asghari, RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Bob the Drag Queen, The Biggest Loser’s Bob Harper, Summer House’s Ciara Miller, Zac Efron’s brother Dylan Efron, The Bachelorette’s Gabby Windey, WWE star Nikki Garcia, Bachelor alum Wells Adams, and actual British Royal Lord Ivar Mountbatten.
