The FC Pro Live promo is now available in EA FC 25, and you can unlock some terrific cards in Ultimate Team via packs and SBCs.
Finally, we have a promo with live cards, where all of them can get upgrades in the future. Each esports pro participating in the FC Pro Open will be representing a card, and the items will get upgrades based on the performances of their representatives in real life. Let’s take a look at which cards have better chances of getting the upgrades, and the ones you should avoid.
Unlike last year, every FC Pro Live item can get up to six upgrades.
- 3 points – +1 overall
- 6 points – +1 SM/WF
- 10 points – +1 Role++ and +1 Alt. Position
- 16 points – +1 overall
- Qualify for knockouts – +1 overall and +1 Role+
- Win FC Pro Open – +1 overall, +1 WF/SM, +1 PlayStyle+.
Every pro will be playing 10 games, so they can reach a maximum of 30 points. Five of the six upgrades can be achieved in the group phase. Every group has six pros, (spread across four groups), and the top two will be qualifying for the knockouts.
The S-tier consists of items that are either very good already in terms of stats, or the chances of them getting a few upgrades are high.
- Xavi Simons (Anders Vejrgang)
- Gabriel Jesus (PHzin – FC Pro Open champ last year)
- Ryan Gravenberch (Emre Yilmaz)
Very good items that can be considered as S-tier if they manage to get the first four upgrades.
- Nathan Ake (Tekkz)
- Karim Benzema (Abofawzi)
- Exequiel Palacios (Nicolas)
- Sacha Boey (Yuval)
- Fabio Carvalho (Jafonso)
- Ferdin Kadioglu (Umut)
Good cards but the chances of them getting too many upgrades are low.
- Victor Osimhen (KaanTZN)
- Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (NikSNEB)
- Lorenzo Insigne (Obrun)
- Sofyan Amrabat (Charif)
- Wout Weghorst (Levi – the card is poor, but expect the card to get at least three upgrades)
- Morsy (Mark 11 – Same as Weghorst)
- Emil Forsberg (GuiBarros)
- Bynoe-Gittens (Stingray)
- Tombakti (Abumakkah)
- Jerome Roussillon (Fouma)
The stats of these items don’t look great, and I will be surprised if the items receive more than a couple of upgrades.
- Igor Silva (LJR)
- Redondo (Facucowen)
- Al Abed (The1os)
- Gregersen (Paulo Neto)
You’ll notice that there are 23 names on this list, which means that at least one more card will be released in the future as part of either an objective or a SBC. It will be represented by Manubachoore, so expect it to have some decent stats and great chances for future upgrades.
