Re: AGAR: Time for a carbon tax election, online, Nov. 18
Justin Trudeau’s comments about families and climate change are typical of the “insulated” — those protected from reality by position (usually academia, public office or service) or by wealth (often derived from oil and gas, such as Trudeau’s). It’s amazing how many anxious to call out privilege in others can’t see it in themselves.

WHO WOULD DO THAT?
Re: AGAR: Time for a carbon tax election, online, Nov. 18
Canada accounts for approximately 1.5 per cent of the world’s GHG emissions. We definitely should be somewhat environmentally conscious. The U.S. regularly surpasses us on GHG reductions without a carbon tax. So that begs this question: What kind of an idiotic leader would put undue hardship on our population by raising the cost of everything for a minuscule result? I believe we all know the answer.

LET IT FOLD, LET IT FOLD …
Well the postal service is frightful,
Our email is quite delightful,
Canada Post has gone on strike
Let it fold, let it fold, let it fold!
The strike shows no signs of stopping.
We don’t miss the postal service flopping.
So bad, the postal service couldn’t be sold.
Let it fold, let it fold, let it fold!
The postal service has been dying.
Canadians are happy with goodbying.
Send the union out in the cold.
Let it fold, let it fold, let it fold!

FUNDS FOR SINGH
What if we set up a GoFundMe page to collect enough money to get the millionaire socialist Jagmeet Singh his “set-for-life pension”? Do you think he would then drop his support of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, go quietly into the night and allow Canadians the opportunity to elect a real government?

A BAH HUMBUG TO ALL
No surprise here that Canada Post is on strike, again, with holidays soon to arrive before we know it, again. Of course, they are the only postal service that delivers letters written by children nationally to the one and only Santa Claus. So, good on Canada Post workers who are annually breaking the hearts and dreams of Canadian children whose handwritten letters will never reach the big man.
