Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor got reflective following news the entire cast had been recast with new faces.
Taylor starred on the show since it’s beginning in 2013 until 2020, and fans watched him work as a bartender at Lisa Vanderpump‘s restaurant SUR and even marry Brittany Cartwright, whom he is now divorcing, on camera.
While he was ultimately got the boot in 2020, Jax has remained a relevant figure in franchise – he and Cartwright went on to star in the spin-off, The Valley.
Jax, 45, embraced his villainous reputation on the show as he dropped several videos of him angering several cast members to Instagram on Wednesday, including Lisa herself.
‘I mean… this can be a series on its own,’ Jax captioned the post. ‘In all seriousness, Vanderpump Rules will always have a part of my heart.
‘From what started as a crazy group of friends working together to make ends meet to becoming such an iconic series and pop culture phenomenon…so many memories both good and bad.Â

He then promised fans that they would be seeing more of him on his own show. Â
‘Many highs, probably more lows…but I’m so thankful to have worked with such an incredibly talented team @thealexbaskin @evolutionusa @nbcuniversal. This isn’t goodbye…more like…see ya soon….on MY show- but for real this time (devil emoji) (crying face emoji).’
The two videos Jax posted began with the trending ‘And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like’ audio followed by videos of him facing off with Tom Sandoval and Lisa.
The first video showed Jax infuriating Tom by telling him, ‘I’m the number one guy in the group’ before he boldly called Vanderpump Rules ‘my show’ to Lisa’s face.Â
‘This is why my show is successful,’ Jax tells Lisa.Â
‘It’s actually not your show, it’s actually my show,’ she fires back.
The post comes following Bravo’s announcement that the upcoming 12th season of Vanderpump Rules will star an entirely new cast.
The new cast consists of ‘close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessor,’ the network said as they announced the show’s renewal.

Lisa will be returning and the upcoming season will begin filming next year. The new cast and premiere date will be announced down the road.
While the cast has changed over the years, last season’s core stars were Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and Scheana Shay.
‘What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again,’ executive producer Alex Baskin said in the statement.
‘With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together,’ he said.

The hit Bravo series shocked fans Tuesday by announcing they would be returning with a brand new castÂ
‘Under Lisa Vanderpump’s watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR — and now TomTom — welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships and frenemies,’ the release noted.
Lisa stated in the announcement: ‘The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between. I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives.
‘How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules,’ she said.
Additionally, the show ‘will celebrate the past decade of heartbreaks, friendship rifts and scandals with a retrospective special highlighting the past 11 seasons’, the release states.
