While the Ottawa Senators have not been fun to watch, playing a bingo game about them sure has been. A group of us made individual bingo cards with each square having a saying, such as, “We just have to play a full 60 minutes”; “Once we get behind, we can’t seem to get ahead”; “Our best players have to be our best players”; and this favourite trope: “We just have to play smarter and stay out of the penalty box.” You get the idea.
After each game, we scour the media for quotes, eagerly crossing out each square that matches on our card. The first person to cross out all their squares wins the $100 pot.
So, Travis Green and the Sens roster, please have someone say, “We can’t blame it all on the goalie”; “We can’t just keep on letting them skate in and score the first goal”; “This is certainly not the team we thought we’d see after training camp”; and “We have to put this game behind us and get ready for the next game” so I can donate my winnings to charity. You will at least be winners off the ice, and so will the Salvation Army.

TRUDEAU PICKS HIS SIDE
Re: WARMINGTON: Trudeau saying ICC can arrest Netanyahu is music to Hamas supporters’ ears, online, Nov. 22
Shame on Justin Trudeau for not being a real leader and outrightly condemning this move by the International Criminal Court. Kudos to Pierre Poilievre for slamming Trudeau, saying this shows just “how very extreme he has become.”
During the ongoing war, Trudeau has been trying to be in both camps. This move seems to clarify his position.

PAST TIME TO TAKE THE WALK
Canadians can no longer tolerate our embarrassing, incompetent, unethical betrayer of Canadian principles. His recent siding with the International Criminal Court against Israel is a despicable betrayal of our longtime alliance with Israel.
It is long past time for this individual to walk the plank. Canadians will be listening for the splash.
