Television actresses Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Sumbul Touqeer Khan met inside the Bigg Boss 16 house and formed a strong bond during their stint. Their friendship, which was also evident through their journey in the house, continues to flourish even after the show. They often share heartwarming posts and videos on social media, showcasing their deep bond. Once again, the Imlie actress has once again reunited with one of her favourite co-contestants, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwali.
The young actress dropped a glimpse from their happy time on her Instagram stories. In the picture, we can see the two sharing a warm hug while exuding a million-dollar smile. For the reunion, Sumbul was seen clad in a black kurta set that featured a white border on the hem and neckline. Nimrit, on the other hand, slipped into a black mini dress. The body-hugging fit featured blue lines all over and enhanced her outfit.
Sharing a picture of their meeting, she wrote, “Reunited. Meriiiiii Nimziiii… I love you so much.”

Coming to the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 16, the controversial reality show premiered in October 2022. The contenders who made it to the top 5 were Priyanka, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam. The grand finale took place on February 12, 2023, and MC Stan took home the trophy of the reality show.
Speaking about Sumbul’s acting career, she stepped into the world of glitz and glamour at a very young age. She marked her debut in 2014 with the show Jodha Akbar. She played the role of child Mehtab in four episodes of the show. Later, she worked in many popular shows such as Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal, Baalveer, Gangaa, Waaris and Imlie, among others. She was last seen in Sony TV’s serial Kavya—Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon in the titular role.
Besides television, Sumbul has marked her Bollywood debut with Ayushmann Khurrana’s crime drama Article 15. In the 2019 film that revolved around caste-based discrimination, she essayed the role of Amali Singh.
