When a police vehicle pulled in behind it, the driver rammed the cruiser, then tried to flee on foot, the release said.
No one was injured.
Officers arrested the driver, a 23-year-old man, and two female passengers aged 27 and 29.
“The vehicle was determined to be stolen and a search of it resulted in a loaded, sawed-off shotgun being located,” the release stated.
The three suspects face charges that include possession of stolen property, evading police, possession of methamphetamine and firearms-related offences.
