Last February, Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and former frontman Howard Jones shared they had founded a new project together, and the two have revealed its name in a new update.
A post from Jones reveals that after first teasing their band over a sushi lunch, the two opted for Thai this time around.
“It’s been a busy year for us, but we finally have our album mixed,” Jones shared in the caption. “Our schedules have caused this to take longer than expected, thanks for bearing with us. Back to work.”
He concluded, “We are Burn Eternal. See you soon.”
Burn Eternal’s debut LP will mark the first time Jones and Dutkiewicz have appeared on a record together since Killswitch Engage’s 2019 album Atonement.
Dutkiewicz and Killswitch Engage recently announced a follow-up to that album titled The Consequence, which they’ll be taking on a 2025 North American tour.
