Coheed and Cambria (pictured) and Mastodon will join forces for a co-headline North American tour in the spring.
The 20-city Infinite Arc Tour will kick off on May 10 in Salem, Virginia and visits cities around the East Coast and Midwest before concluding on June 8 in Waukee, Iowa. Support will come from special guests Periphery and tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (December 13).
Coheed and Cambria will release their new album, ‘The Father Of Make Believe’, on March 14. It’ll serve as Act III of their ongoing Amory Wars / Vaxis storyline, following on from 2022’s ‘Vaxis Act II: A Window Of The Waking Mind’. They recently teased the project with the singles Searching For Tomorrow and Blind Side Sonny.
They’ll return to the UK in the summer to headline 2000trees alongside PVRIS, Taking Back Sunday, Kneecap and Alexisonfire. Tickets are on sale now.
Mastodon celebrated the 15th anniversary of their album ‘Crack The Skye’ with the release of a deluxe edition in October. They also marked 20 years of ‘Leviathan’ with some special shows, and teamed up with Lamb Of God for a new song, Floods Of Triton, in September.
