If bringing back the Pizza Line is the best promotion the Ottawa Senators organization can come up with, it needs help in marketing.
It might have been even a tiny, and I mean a real tiny, improvement had they brought back Alexei Yashin and Alexandre Daigle. Mind you, these men probably would have declined the invitation.
At least it didn’t cost a lot to bring Daniel Alfredsson to the event. He was already in the building.

PENALIZING MORE LAWFUL GUN OWNERS
Re: Trudeau Liberals expand gun grab, adding 324 new models to ban list, online, Dec. 5
Here we go yet again with the Justin Trudeau government penalizing lawful gun owners with a move that will do little to stop gun crimes. Does anyone really believe gang-bangers, who commit the vast majority of gun crimes, will willingly turn over their weapons to this gun banning-obsessed government?

If Trudeau were really serious about fighting gun crime, he would not have allowed porous borders, which facilitate organized criminal gangs being able to import handguns, their choice of weapons, not those weapons on this new ban list.
Also, Trudeau would also clean up the revolving-door, no-bail, light-sentences justice system and not appoint social activist judges. No wonder serious crime has risen more than 40 per cent since the Trudeau government came to power.

HE’LL NEVER RESPECT TRUDEAU
Re: Rocky road ahead, letter to the editor, Dec. 5
I agree with the letter writer that Donald Trump respects strong leaders. Trump will never respect Justin Trudeau as much as he respects North Korean leader Kim Jong Un or Russian president Vladimir Putin. He would never insult either of those men in the way he has insulted Trudeau in the past.

It is more questionable whether Trump’s policies are based on common sense. High tariffs are not consistent with modern common sense.
I would also find it hard to say that Trump’s brand of conservativism is not ideologically driven. Both men have minds that can fall into grooves, but in different parts of the political spectrum.
