Indie game developer Duonix Studios has officially released its latest title, 10 Dead Doves, on PC via Steam. This single-player horror game costs $19.99. An extra 20% discount is available for all early birds, which will end on 27 December 2024. This story-driven game takes players through ancient mountains filled with eerie sights, hidden mysteries, and spine-chilling challenges.
Inspired by PS1-era classics like Grim Fandango and Resident Evil, 10 Dead Doves invites players into the dense forests of Appalachia. When birds start falling lifeless from the sky, two friends venture onto one of the toughest hiking trails in search of answers. Their goal? To uncover the truth behind the Ant Farm, a fabled place said to grant your deepest dreams.
The game takes place in 2004, and players step into the shoes of Marcus Stetson, dubbed The Most Pathetic Man on Earth. A seasoned backpacker, Marcus dreams of conquering the Appalachian Trail. Teaming up with his bold and spirited friend Sean, the two aim to recapture their glory days on one final adventure.
Mark’s journey is a test of strength, determination, and sharp thinking. Along the way, cryptic dreams bring eerie messages from a bird-like figure called The Wren.
