- Monster Hunter Now season four, Roars from the Winterwind, is out now
- A new habitat, monsters, weapon and more are all being added!
- And there’s the addition of Palicos to boot, with full customisation
Monster Hunter Now’s latest season, Roars from the Winterwind, is out now. It brings a new habitat, monsters, and a weapon, among other bits and pieces. If you’re venturing out from your warm, cosy home and into the frigid wilderness of mid-December anywhere, be sure to take MH Now with you.
And yes, it’s all seasonally appropriate additions this time around. The new habitat, the Tundra, is a fittingly icy region filled with undiscovered monsters. Tigrex, Lagombi, Volvidon and Somnacanth will all make their debut this season, both in the Tundra and beyond. Need to give your friends a boost? Use the new Friend Cheering feature to grant them a temporary health boost.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking for new ways to take on the monsters there’s the addition of the Switch Axe. This oddball weapon lets you swap between axe mode for more reach, and sword mode for more damage. But that’s not the biggest addition by a long shot, as Palicos arrive in Monster Hunter Now!
Car crash
Yes, Palicos, those adorable furry companions are now fully available in Monster Hunter Now. You’ll be able to customise your own pal with facial features, fur, voice and of course ears of your own choosing. Considering how beloved the palicos are (basically being an unofficial mascot and all) I’ve no doubt many of you are especially excited to be able to grab your own custom cat-gnome-thing.
