But how exactly can you emote in the game? And is it possible to unlock extra emotes for your favorite heroes? Here’s how to emote, as well as how to equip and get new emotes in Marvel Rivals.
How to Emote in Marvel Rivals
No matter your hero of choice, you will be able to emote from the get-go in Marvel Rivals by either holding T or left on your DPAD, which will open the Customized Wheel. Once at the wheel, simply select an emote or hover over it with the right analog stick to perform it.
How to Get and Equip New Emotes
Now that you know how to use emotes mid-match, you will be able to unlock new ones through Twitch Drops (during set time frames), as well as by either exchanging for them at the Battle Pass page or purchasing new skin packs at the game’s store. Unlike the hero-focused sprays, it is not possible to get emotes by raising your hero proficiency. After acquiring a new emote, you will be able to equip to its set hero by doing the following:

The emote can be unlocked by watching 2 hours of any stream featuring the drops until December 31, 2024, and be claimed by heading to your Twitch Drop Inventory page. Apart from the emote, you can also unlock a profile picture, spray, and a new Magneto skin.
If you missed the window for the rewards above and don’t want to buy individual skin packs, purchasing the Luxury Tier for the game’s Battle Pass is by far your best bet when looking to get new emotes, as the latter is not pricey by any means —costing only $5.
