Brazilian club Corinthians have been offered a huge monthly payment by an escort website to help fund a shock move for Paul Pogba.
The former Manchester United midfielder is planning a return to football after a four-year doping ban was reduced to 18 months.
The Frenchman is able to return to training in January and can play again from March, with clubs able to snap him up on a free transfer after he was released from Juventus by mutual consent.
Brazilian publication Portal LeoDias report that Corinthians have been offered a helping hand in an ambitious move for the midfielder.
The report states that Fatal Model, an escort website, has offered R$4 million (£500) per month to try and make the move work.
Fatal Model director Nina Sag said: ‘We would like to express our interest in actively contributing to making this operation possible, which certainly represents a unique opportunity for everyone involved.
‘Fatal Model has always supported sports. This time we saw an opportunity to strengthen ties with a club that was already on our list of interest.’
The 31-year-old has not played a competitive game since September 2023 but there is plenty of interest in him from big clubs.
The interest from Corinthians is thought to be genuine, but there are also options in Europe for the former Juventus man.
Marseille have been linked with a move for Pogba, while even Premier League champions Manchester City have been touted as a possible destination for him.
The Independent report that City have ‘sounded out’ Pogba but the Frenchman is not convinced by a return to Manchester, where he played for United.
