The Transformers x Mob Control crossover continues as Voodoo and Hasbro have added the latest champion to the strategy game. After introducing Optimus Prime a few months ago, you can now welcome the nefarious Decepticon, Starscream, who’s here to wreak havoc. He is the fourth playable Transformers character, carrying forward the Echoes from Cybertron story mode.
All the new content is part of Mob Control’s latest episode, titled Starscream’s Masterplan. After the release of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Megatron, Starscream brings a fresh combat style as you keep switching between his robot and jet forms. Both variants have specialised attacks, so you’ll have to choose the form according to the situation in front of you.
In robot form, Starscream uses his iconic null-ray cannons for ranged attacks, capable of stunning enemy champions and creating opportunities for tactical advantage. You’re free to change into the jet form whenever you please. Switching allows Starscream to perform a high-speed missile barrage before returning to his starting position. There is a cooldown, though, so use this move wisely.
The episode itself includes seven new levels, culminating in a three-round boss fight that will put your skills to the test. To take part, you’ll collect Energon from chests during regular gameplay. Completing the entire episode will earn you some of the blueprints needed to unlock Starscream in the Armory, with additional blueprints available through the Transformers Season.

If you’re looking for some competition, the Transformers League is where you can show off your abilities. This leaderboard tracks your progress as you replay levels, rewarding points for completed tiers and looted bricks. It resets every two weeks, so you’ll have to be quick about getting to the top.
