GB News’ Martin Daubney was absent from his usual slot on the news programme sparking an unexpected shake-up.
After the show began, presenter Dawn Neesom took to social media to announce that she would temporarily host the afternoon broadcast.
The 60-year-old was all smiles as she sported a festive Christmas hat and urged fans to “come and keep me company”.
Dawn stunned in a bright pink blazer and an equally as vivid bright red lipstick, which seemed to impress her followers.
In addition to her look, the familiar grey desk also underwent a festive transformation, as it was decorated with garland, blue, red, and white baubles, some with the Union Jack on them.
Viewers were thrilled to see Dawn would be taking over Martin’s slot until 6pm and took to the comments with praise.
@KathB90772579 remarked: “Welcome back Dawn. Don’t be a Starmer. Who’s never here. There is one difference, we missed you. Pleased you enjoyed your break.”
As @CFB6363 complimented the presenter and noted she was: “Looking good.”
An @juliejonesxx thrilled echoed: “Looking good can’t wait xx.”
A fourth fan @saradaviescash1 added: “I love the outfit and the hat wicked.”
Although the reason for Martin’s absence has yet to be revealed, Dawn often appears on GB News to replace other presenters when she’s not fronting her own show.
As a result, she has become a huge favourite among viewers, and many have called for her to replace Eammon Holmes permanently
Dawn co-presented his breakfast show with Isabel Webster, while he enjoyed a romantic getaway with his girlfriend, Katie Alexander in September.
