Gameloft’s Asphalt Legends Unite is set to finish up its esports tournament series in style. The culmination of the Ferrari HP Esports Asphalt Series will see major prizes on offer and finalists flown in from all over the world to a specially picked spot in Spain.
That’s right, the competing finalists will duke it out on December 18th, on-site and live-streamed from the iconic Ferrari Land in PortAventura World in Salou, Spain. These lucky competitors will even get behind the wheel of a Ferrari 499P Modificata, before competing for the lion’s share of €20,000 in cash and exclusive Ferrari Merchandise.
The competition has been ongoing since August, with racers competing in Asphalt Legends Unite for both console and mobile. Each round featured an iconic Ferrari automobile as part of the trappings, and with qualifiers now over, the following eight top racers are set to compete. Natto, BWO™ BIG, JägerMajsterrr, Myeon, Elite JOE, Future, Flash™, Requiem and oNio.

Suffice it to say this is just an ever-so-slightly gaudy competition, what with the abundant Ferrari branding, but it’s not hard to see why so many people are excited. Aside from the competitors duking it out for some major prizes, Ferrari also seems to have gone all-in on showing off their famous portfolio of automobiles and even hosting it at their own glitzy theme park.
