Mark your calendars as the date for the first Community Day event of the new year has been revealed in Pokémon Go. January 2025’s Community Day event will take place on the 5th, and it’s Sprigaito’s time to shine. Between 2:00 and 5:00 pm local time, the Grass Cat Pokémon will be found at a greater rate, alongside a bunch of other rewards.
The Sprigaito Community Day event in Pokémon Go offers you a solid chance to stock up on the Pokémon. If you evolve it into Floragato and subsequently into Meowscarada during the event, or up to five hours after, it will learn the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant. Plus, it will also gain the Charged Attack Flower Trick permanently, making it a great addition to your roster.
Community Day bonuses will make your adventure even more rewarding. You’ll earn triple Stardust and double Candy for every Pokémon caught, and Trainers at level 31 or higher have a doubled chance of snagging Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours, and you’ll enjoy half-price Stardust costs for trades, with an extra Special Trade available too.
If you’re looking for an extra challenge, a paid Special Research will be available for $2, offering exclusive rewards like a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more encounters with Sprigatito. A free Timed Research task will also allow you to keep the fun going after Community Day, giving you a week to complete tasks and earn a Sprigatito with a Dual Destiny-themed background.
