Aamir Ali reunited with his FIR cast after nine years since the show concluded in 2015.
SAB TV’s sitcom FIR still holds a special place in its fans’ hearts. Recently, the cast had a reunion that brought back waves of nostalgia. While the actors shared some sneak peeks of their reunion on social media earlier, Aamir Ali posted a hilarious video on his Instagram from their get-together. The video features Kavita Kaushik, Sapna Sikarwar, Gopi Bhalla and Sandeep Anand, along with Aamir. However, Kiku Sharda was notably absent from the reunion.
As the video began, Kavita said, “Mazza aa gaya yaar aaj mil ke (It was great meeting you all today)” and others sitting beside her agreed to what she said. The next moment, Gopi Bhalla added, “Kavita, tum bilkul sahi kehti ho. Aaj main sabko na ek pate ki baat batata hun. Kabhi bhi zindagi mein kisi galat aadmi ke saath mat baithna (Kavita, what you said was absolutely right. Let me tell you all something. Never associate with a bad person in your life).”
As soon as he finished the sentence, Aamir, Kavita, Sapna and Sandeep got up from their places and left the scene. The camera then zoomed in on Gopi’s face, which showed a goofy expression as he realised what had just happened. In the caption of the post, Aamir wrote, “Bad company = lot of fun #fir,” followed by a red heart emoji.
The video left people on the internet rolling on the floor laughing. Deepika Singh, Jaswir Kaur and Remo D’souza were among the celebrities who reacted with laughing face emojis on the post. On the other hand, the fans of SAB TV’s sitcom questioned the actor if FIR 2 was in the works. Some even requested a sequel to their favourite serial.
It seems that pranking Gopi Bhalla is a favourite pastime of the FIR cast. In a previous video shared by Aamir on his Instagram account, the actors participated in a dance challenge. They began dancing to a funny song facing in one direction, with Gopi in the front. However, others stopped the challenge after a few seconds and let Gopi continue to perform the funny dance moves on his own.
In the caption, Aamir wrote, “Ok so u guys thought we only had this quite dinner where we met after years, spoke bout #fir n got all emotional..Noooo… they are are crazy n sooo freaking funny n I had so sooo much fun.. love u gopiji, love them all.”
FIR premiered on SAB TV in 2006. The cop-based sitcom concluded in 2015.
