- Text-based narrative adventure in space
- Multiple endings to unlock
- Launching on January 2nd
Morrigan Games has announced the upcoming release of Space Station Adventure: No Response From Mars, the indie studio’s text-based narrative adventure that’s launching on January 2nd. The release date goes hand-in-hand with Science Fiction Day as well as Isaac Asimov’s birthday, which is more than a coincidence given you’ll take on the role of an AI in space.
In Space Station Adventure: No Response From Mars, you’ll prove your technical prowess as an AI tasked with assisting a human technician who’s been sent to Mars. The only problem is that your human seems to be completely underqualified, so it’s up to you to keep the mission on track and save the day.
Your choices will have lasting consequences throughout the plot, with multiple endings to unlock and a non-linear story to uncover. There seems to be a point-and-click-esque mechanic here too with its mini-games, along with more than 100,000 words of plotlines to experience.
There are 36 different achievements you can aim for too, and if you’re a bit of a completionist, there are seven endings in total to go for. It does seem like an interesting twist to your typical space shenanigans, as you’ll be on the non-human side for once. But is it all going to make a difference and help you make it out of the vast interstellar unknown in one piece?
