- Eco-Friendly Design
- Affordable
- Compact wireless earbuds
The Little Bird Wireless Earbuds are small, thin, and promise to be eco-friendly, which is pretty nice! When I first opened them up, I quite liked the bamboo design and the speckles of different plastic on the case – they do look like they are made from recycled plastic and bamboo. These come in a few different colours; I got a dark navy blue.
These earbuds come with smaller, medium and big-sized ear tips along with a charging cable that follows this sort of eco look, with a slightly different coloured string around it. It’s a normal USB-C to USB cable – quite small. The charging port on the case is actually at the bottom of the case, which means it cannot sit up while you charge it – the first penalty!
The Little Bird Wireless Earbuds fit snuggly into the charging case, with the charging ports being on the very bottom of the earpiece. It’s magnetic and so is the case, which holds close because of the magnets in it. The top of the case does feel a little close to the earbuds, as they go deep into the case, so they can be tricky to pull out easily.
When charging these earbuds, you check a little light by the charging port at the bottom, which is red while charging and green when fully charged. The earbuds themselves also have a small white light, that’s always lit up when it’s playing music through them.
All About the Sound
When I first put in the Little Bird Wireless Earbuds, I was honestly confused about how quiet the sound was. I felt like I needed to turn up the sound on my phone to actually hear the music or game I was listening to. At a lower volume, the sound itself is extremely flat, but once you turn it up it feels much better. There isn’t much noise cancelling on these earbuds, but that does feel like it’s down to the price and these are affordable. If you do use these earbuds to make calls, you might need to speak up a bit compared to other headsets.
This pair of earbuds does have a gaming mode and a movie mode, but I honestly cannot tell the difference between these modes and the normal sound at all. I’m not sure if there is something I am missing here!
Tap Controls
Interestingly enough, you can use touch gestures on these earbuds to get a bit of feedback sound, which can allow you to control the music you are listening to. Tapping the left side lowers the volume, double tapping pauses or plays sound, long pressing plays the previous track, etc.
Battery Life
When it comes to battery life, something that always feels super important: the Little Bird Wireless Earbuds have a battery life of 24 hours including a fully charged case, with up to 6 hours of listening without the case. This feels like a decent amount of time for the price range.
