Malaika Arora has finally reacted to Arjun Kapoor stating that he is single during Singham Again promotions.

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora started dating in 2018 and made their relationship official in 2019. After six years of their relationship, there had been strong rumours since the past few months that the couple has separated. Finally, Arjun confirmed their breakup and stated that he is single in October this year.
While promoting his last film Singham Again at a Diwali bash hosted by Raj Thackeray in Mumbai, the Ishaqzaade actor was met with chants of “Malaika, Malaika” from his fans. Responding to them, Arjun said, “Ab main single hoon (Now I’m single).” While his statement confirmed their breakup, Malaika chose not to respond in the last two months.
Now, the Chaiyya Chaiyya girl has reacted to his remark and said that she would have never chosen a public platform to talk about her personal life. Talking to ETimes, Malaika said, “I am a very private person, and there are certain aspects of my life which I don’t want to elaborate on much. I will never choose a public platform to talk about my personal life. So, whatever Arjun has said is entirely his prerogative.”
Earlier this year, Malaika Arora also faced a personal tragedy when his stepfather Anil Mehta died by suicide. He fell from the sixtth floor of his residence in Mumbai in September. The actress’s mother Joyce Polycarp was seen devastated at his funeral. Arjun Kapoor immediately rushed to support Malaika at this low point in her life.
