The NBA has penalized three players for their role in a battle on the hardwood Friday night.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the league will suspend Dallas Mavericks small forward Naji Marshall for four games, Phoenix Suns starting center Jusuf Nurkic for three, and Mavericks power forward PJ Washington for one.

As Charania notes, Nurkic hit Marshall in the head, Marshall escalated the fracas by punching Nurkic, and Washington was seen to have added fuel to the fire.
