Dipika Kakar, known for her performances in Sasural Simar Ka and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, is set to come back to the small screens with the show Celebrity MasterChef after a long hiatus. Hosted by Farah Khan, the show will feature several renowned celebs showcasing their culinary expertise. As the Bigg Boss 12 winner gears up for her new show, her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim extended his support.
Sharing a video on Instagram stories Shoaib wrote, “MasterChef ka kitchen ho ya ghar ka, pyaaz jalna is constant. Super proud of you. Make us all proud again,” while jokingly referring to her constant kitchen mistakes.
In the video, Dipika can be seen prepping for the show as she learns how to cook with a chef by her side. The video caption reads, “Kuch bhulu ya na bhulu, apna learning mindset saath leke aayi hoon. Dekhiye Celebrity MasterChef, COMING SOON, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par.”
Apart from Dipika, the show will also feature celebs like Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, Gaurav Khanna, Tejasswi Prakash, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Chandan Prabhakar, Abhijeet Sawant and Kabita Singh.
Celebrity chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, on the other hand, will be seen judging the dishes prepared by the contestants.
Recently, Dipika dropped a picture with her fellow participants on Instagram. Dressed in purple ethnic wear and a MasterChef apron, the Sasural Simar Ka actress can be seen flaunting her adorable smile as she posed with the team, who also exuded their million-dollar smile towards the lenses. “The Celebrity Masterchef Are Here…” the caption read.
Information related to the show’s premiere date and time has been kept under wraps. It will premiere on Sony TV.
Dipika was last seen in the show Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum in 2020. In the telly series, she was paired opposite actor Karan Grover. However, after that, she took a long break from acting to focus on her married life.
She welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Ruhaan Ibrahim, with her husband Shoaib in June last year.
Shoaib, on the other hand, was last seen in the dancing reality show Jahalak Dikkhla Jaa 11, in which he emerged as the runner-up.
