Television actress Shraddha Arya became a mother to twins on November 29. Just a month after their arrival, the actress shared her “dilemma” with her fans. On December 30, she posted a video on her Instagram Stories, lying next to her babies who were peacefully sleeping. Dressed in her PJs, Shraddha gave a sneak peek of her twins and playfully asked a humorous question. Given her babies were sleeping, the Kundali Bhagya actress did not utter a word. At the top of the video, she wrote, “Sleep when the Babies sleep…” and then asked, “But if I do…then when do I have my chocolate-covered strawberries??!! #MaIn DileMa.” As the clip played further, Shraddha was seen taking a bite of a chocolate-covered strawberry.
On December 3, Shraddha announced the news of the arrival of her twins, a baby boy and a baby girl. Along with the happy news, she also posted a video with a cover picture of herself, where she was seen adorably cradling her two babies. The clip featured a sneak peek of Shraddha’s hospital room decorated with blue and pink balloons, with some even displaying “Baby boy” and “ It’s a girl” on them. It also revealed her twins’ date of birth — November 29.
In the caption, Shraddha wrote, “Two little bundles of joy have made our family complete. Our Hearts Are Doubly Full! #TwinBlessings #ABoyandAGirl #BestOfBothTheWorlds.”
In mid-September, Shraddha and her husband, Rahul Nagal, revealed they were expecting their first child. The actress posted a video of them featuring a positive pregnancy test and a picture of the sonography. In the caption, she wrote, “We Are Expecting A Little Miracle!!! #Pregnancy #FutureParents #Blessed.”
The announcement came after months of speculation regarding the actress’ pregnancy. In an interview with ETimes, Shraddha revealed that she learned about her pregnancy during the time of Navratri in April. “I remember while serving food, I felt dizzy, and sometime later, we found out that I had conceived. Rahul and I were overjoyed,” said the actress.
Shraddha Arya bid farewell to her hit television serial, Kundali Bhagya, in November, just before welcoming her babies. In the show, she portrayed the character of Preeta.
