The Masked Singer is already fascinating fans with its 12 mystery celebrity contestants.
While both Spag Bol and Pegasus have already been revealed as an ITV presenting stalwart and an icon of The Great British Bake Off, 10 more identities have yet to be unmasked.
All contestants have now belted out their first songs onstage, with Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Snail, Tattoo, Teeth, Pufferfish, Bush, Bear, Toad in the Hole and Wolf remaining in the competition.
It’s up to judging panel Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Maya Jama to try to figure out the famous faces beneath the outlandish costumes, as well as Sunday’s panel guest, Line of Duty star Vicky McClure.
And of course, there’s expert sofa sleuthing from the show’s audience at home.
Here’s everything we know about Wolf so far.

What clues are there for Wolf’s identity?
- ‘You won’t want to keep this wolf from your door’
- Wolf’s VT shows a model boat building set lying on a table
- A T-shirt hangs on a rack reading ‘wolfpack’, meaning judges wonder if he’s been a member of a band
- ‘If the three little pigs had listened to my advice, no huffin’, no puffin’, would have blown those houses down’ could be a clue to a property development portfolio or expertise
- A cameraman filming Wolf is shown to be wearing a mitre, the traditional ceremonial headwear of bishops, so does the celebrity have a link to the church?
- A set of multi-coloured skittles is shown briefly
- The performance is a stylised, breathy and impressive rendition of David Bowie’s Let’s Dance
- Riddle: ‘As a wolf I’ve held dominion over everything I see, wild woods, creek or cave, that’s my territory’
Who could Wolf on The Masked Singer be?
Phil Spencer

Maya was taken by Wolf’s attitude and confidence, but ultimately decided against him having a musical background, instead plumping for TV’s Phil Spencer.
The Love Island host linked Wolf to the Location, Location, Location star because of the numerous references he made to foundations and houses.
Simon Le Bon

Davina was confident in her guess of Simon Le Bon, reckoning that the rocker fitted several clues she’d deciphered.
This included being married to a model – Yasmin Le Bon – which she attached to the model kit reference.
But most convincingly to her, Le Bon is the lead singer of Duran Duran, who famously had a chart-topping hit in 1983 with Hungry Like the Wolf.
Bono

Mo also went with rock royalty for his guess of Bono.
The judge noted the ‘Pope hat’ on the cameraman, linking it to the Irish rocker, who’s met the Pope on several occasions.
He also linked Bono to the ‘wolfpack’ T-shirt as he is also a member of the huge group U2.
David Tennant

Jonathan commented that Wolf looked ‘very comfortable up there’ and made a niche suggestion of David Tennant.
His link to the Doctor Who star was simply that production company Bad Wolf co-produces the show alongside BBC Studios.
He also noted the ‘technicolour’ nature of the bowling skittles for a second guess of Jason Donovan, who has famously starred in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on stage.
Mike Skinner

Guest judge admitted she found guessing Wolf’s identity ‘very tricky’, but she opted for Mike Skinner.
Her reasoning was simply that Wolf had said ‘take me as I am’ in the VT, which is the name of a song by The Streets and Chris Lorenzo, with Skinner the lead vocalist for the band.
On social media, many fans were agreeing with Davina’s suggestion of Simon Le Bon.
Wolf is so effortlessly cool – what a mask and character! I thought of Simon Le Bon too @ThisisDavina,’ wrote Jon Connell on X, before throwing out another popular suggestion: ‘His voice and movements really reminded me of Martin Fry from ABC. Can’t wait to see more from him!’
‘Wolf to me sounds like Martin Fry, the lead singer of ‘80s music group ABC ,’ agreed Mandy Amory, while others were also convinced it was former Wet Wet Wet front man Marti Pellow.
The Masked Singer airs each weekend on ITV1 and ITVX.
