DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -Funeral services are set this week for retired Dothan businessman James P. Hall, Sr., who died Friday. He was 93.
Hall, an Auburn graduate and Army veteran, worked in the insurance industry for decades until his retirement in 2016. He was previously in the real estate business.
A devout Christian, Hall brought the Billy Graham Crusade to Dothan for several years, served as Dothan Rotary Club president and Paul Harris Fellow, and was a Dothan city commissioner.

According to his obit, he was chairman of the organizing committee and then 1st President of the Wiregrass Boys and Girls Club Board and served United Way as treasurer for five years.
His light was a beacon for others, including inmates he touched during weekly trips ministry trips at the Houston County Jail.
Funeral services will be at First United Methodist Church on Friday, January 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation to follow.
