- Play a weary photographer in a bizarre world
- Find your way home through your lens
- How do you capture the perfect moment?
Sigono has just dropped a new teaser for Opus: Prism Peak, the indie studio’s upcoming narrative-driven adventure. You’ll take on the role of a photographer grappling with a mysterious reality, and as you view the world around you behind your lens, you might just learn more about yourself and your own past along the way.
Anything story-driven always piques my interest, and this one – based on the visuals alone – already gives off plenty of evocative vibes to me. It’s pretty clear there’ll be lots of emotional undertones in the cinematic scenes here, and when you top that off with a tale woven by an IGF-nominated writer, it’s bound to be a memorable ride.
Plus, you get to play a weary grown-up thrust into what seems like an isekai adventure – and for many of us equally weary grownups, this definitely sounds appealing, doesn’t it?
Oh, and did I mention there are spirits whose essences you’ll need to capture with your trusty camera to find your way home? That has Ghibli-esque feels too, in my opinion, which is always a good thing.
Now, Opus: Prism Peak hasn’t exactly announced an official mobile launch just yet, but given how its previous project, Opus: Echo of Starsong, came out on mobile too, it might just be safe to say this one will follow in its footsteps.
In the meantime, if you’re on the hunt for more meaningful stories that will stay with you long after the last chapter ends, why not take a look at our list of the best narrative adventures to get your fill?
