To all my Canadian friends:
Americans don’t really want to annex Canada. We like you just the way you are.
I’ve lived in metro Detroit all my life, and I have often enjoyed visiting Windsor, Toronto, Stratford, the Pinery, and London. I loved Halifax and Quebec, and Ottawa.
Mr. Trump is talking about annexing Canada (and Panama and Greenland) to distract us from the fact that he can’t bring consumer prices back down (as he promised), and he can’t develop a health care insurance system that is better than the Affordable Care Act (‘Obamacare’).
