Re: Canucks done listening; Voters no longer believe a word Trudeau says, column, Jan. 12
I believe most of what Stephen Ledrew wrote, except for one thing. Liberal MPs were complicit in what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was doing, and if not they were so protective of themselves that they didn’t care about the pain he was inflicting on Canadians. That speaks volumes about the character of every Liberal in his government, whether they were in his inner circle or not. It’s all about self preservation, and country and fellow citizens be damned.
I never believed a word that came out of his mouth. The fact that he and his “team” are backing Mark Carney tells me all I need to know.
We need to reduce both the NDP and the Liberals to non-party status, let them feel a little pain themselves.

SHAME ON YOU, JUSTIN
Re: Feelings take precedence over facts in PM’s CNN interview, online, Jan. 10
We are not a post-national, colonial, racist state, Mr. Trudeau! Your illiberal, anti-western “progressive” agenda was irresponsible and divisive. Social justice should not be about turning our culture into a battleground of tribal catharsis and resentment-fuelled policies based on ideological misinformation.
As a lifelong liberal, I despise how you led the so-called progressive left to assert their puritanical power over us. You have misled my children into believing that to be a social justice warrior means to be supporting terrorists.
Shame on you, Justin!

RULES NEED TO CHANGE
We obviously need to change the rules of Parliament. Justin Trudeau and his merry band of Liberals know they are going down the toilet, but they can hide behind shutting down Parliament, which affects all Canadians and only benefits themselves.
Trudeau just won’t admit he failed as a leader and did a great deal of damage to our country. Now they are bringing in a new leader, and it is scary to think certain Canadians are going to fall for their latest scam and actually vote Liberal again.
